Finally, I took the plunge into the endless world of technology and decided it was about time I got myself a website. Not only will it make my travels and racing easily accessible to you; but it will also make it easier for me to keep everyone up to speed with what happens, when it happens!

As most of you would know, I have just completed my first Elite racing season abroad, spending a full year in South Africa. I was at first based in Cape Town racing for the now defunct CSC Marcello, before circumstances saw me move to Johannesburg as a Privateer to be in the thick of the racing... Since then, I have not looked back. A few noticeable improvements in my abilities resulted in one or two teams showing interest in signing me for 2009. Whether this materialises is merely a matter of financial stability within the teams.

But the good news is that I am returning to South Africa on December 29th, 2008 to continue racing. In fact I will be starting a brand new season, with anticipated better results, and even more races!!

I will keep you up to date as best I can, when it comes to my racing programme and most importantly, news with regards to getting that elusive contract... Fingers crossed!

But rewinding to the start of 2008... Thank you to absolutely everyone who stood by my side and believed in my decisions. Without the support and encouragement, one can't help but think "what the hell am I doing". So thank you to my sponsors, family and friends and most importantly my Dad for always being there, even though we were half a world apart...

Bring on 2009!
