Feeling Better
Wednesday, 03 June 2009 20:44

I popped down to the Doctor a week ago for a blood test, and got the result I expected. Low iron levels have given me an overall feeling of being pretty worn out. After 13hrs of sleep, I still felt tired! But a few days later and on a dosage of iron pills has seen me right! I'm feeling much better and am back to my usual self, with all the energy in the world (well almost - getting there slowly)

I'm racing tomorrow at 4pm, with another 120km Kermesse of 15 laps or so. Hopefully I'll avoid the crashes this time. Speaking of which, wishing a speedy recovery to the poor guy involved in the same crash. He's been left with a broken arm.  I'll update soon after tomorrow's race hopefuly with some good results and the start of a good end to my Belgian Campaign.
